Multi Lay Bets Calculator Guide

This guide explains how to use the Multi Lay Bets Calculator to lay multiple mutually exclusive outcomes, allowing you to match bets like correct scores or certain Bet Builder combinations where no single lay market exists.

Multi Lay Bets Calculator Guide

The Multi Lay Bets Calculator is for laying bets such as "Correct Score to be 2-0, 3-0 or 4-0".

This calculator only works when only one of your options is capable of winning.

For example, only one of the above correct scores can happen. You cannot use this to lay bets such as Harry Kane or Bruno Fernandes to score (since both events can happen).

The Multi Lay Bets Calculator is very useful for certain price boosts and to lay Bet Builder bets that don't have a single lay market (more information on this later in the guide).

EXAMPLE

Paddy Power are offering a price boost on "Tottenham to win 1-0 or 2-0" at odds of 9.5 (max stake £20).

The current lay odds on the exchange for 1-0 Tottenham Correct Score are 13.5.
The current lay odds on the exchange for 2-0 Tottenham Correct Score are 21.0.

  • Bet Type - Normal
  • Back Stake - £20
  • Back Odds - 9.5
  • You can change the Outcome text to the names of your selections if you like.
  • Tottenham 1-0 Lay Odds - 13.5
  • Tottenham 2-0 Lay Odds - 21.0
  • Set the commission to whatever exchange commission you're paying

This is telling you to place a £14.07 lay bet against 1-0 and a £9.05 lay bet against 2-0.

Place both of these lay bets.

Your profit in this example will be £3.07.

BET TYPE

  • Normal - When betting with your own cash. For example for a price boost or a qualifying bet.
  • Normal Underlay - Also for when betting with your own cash, however, it will make sure the lay stakes provide a £0 loss if your back bet loses. Some people like to do this with price boosts for a potentially larger profit.
  • Free Bet (SNR) - When using a free bet.

BET BUILDERS

Plenty of bookmakers are doing offers on "Bet Builders" these days. You can read more about these types of bets here.

The Multi Lay Bets Calculator can be useful to lay some more obscure options that don't have a single lay market. You may be able to find some better qualifying losses.

In the table below are some examples of Bet Builder bets that can be laid using the Multi Lay Bets Calculator. The Multi Lay Bets Calculator has a Bet Builder dropdown box where you can select one of these examples and it will prefill the outcome boxes with the correct lay markets:

Example

You're doing a Bet £10 Get £5 Free Bet offer with Unibet that requires the qualifying bet to be on a Bet Builder. You can't find a decent qualifying loss for the options linked in the guide above so you decide to try and find one from the table above and use the Multi Lay Bets Calculator to lay it.

First select the Bet Builder tab, then select Draw and also Under 2.5 Goals.

You can see from the above table that the lay markets for this are 0-0 and 1-1 Correct Score.

The Multi Lay Bets Calculator then looks like this:

You lay £3.03 against 0-0 at odds of 14.5
Then you lay £5.79 against 1-1 at odds of 7.6.
Your qualifying loss is £1.18.

If at any point you need to lay more than 2 outcomes, click the Add New Outcome button:

You can then remove any outcomes by clicking the red bin icon:
