William Hill Vegas Overall Rating: 4.4/5⭐

Verdict: A solid casino offering, which stands out especially for its exceptionally generous welcome offer. While its game selection and banking options are good, we would have liked it to be easier to make contact, and it’s unfortunate that RTP isn’t easy to access.

William Hill Vegas Bonuses & Promotions

William Hill Vegas is very much among the better casinos we’ve reviewed, with an exceptionally generous welcome offer and good regular reloads. Whether you’re a matched bettor completing casino offers, or just a casual casino fan, you’ll probably be delighted by what’s on offer.

William Hill Vegas’ Welcome Offer

William Hill Vegas’ welcome offer is an exceptionally good one: deposit and stake £10 to receive 200 free spins.

The offer is exclusive to Big Bass Splash, so you don’t get to choose where you stake your £10 or use your free spins, but that’s a pretty minor quibble with such a generous sign up offer.

Just make sure to use the code BBS200 when you sign up to ensure you’re eligible for the promotion!

William Hill Vegas' Reload Offers

William Hill will regularly offer free spins to existing customers with no strings attached, which is always much appreciated! They also have a free ‘bonus drop’ daily game, which gives you the opportunity to win prizes including free spins, free bets, or even cash.

It’d be nice to see regular offers giving you the chance to stake a certain amount to receive free spins as well, but really there’s little to complain about when it comes to William Hill’s bonuses.

Design & Navigation

William Hill Vegas casino homepage

William Hill Vegas’ casino design is pretty standard, with little to separate it from most other online casinos. Under a large promotional banner are various categories of games, plus a search bar, followed by large, gaudy game thumbnails on a dark blue background.

By varying the size and shape of game thumbnails, though, the casino has created a less uniform and eye-straining feel, which is a nice touch.

The main menu bar allows you to choose from the following:

  • Vegas
  • Live Casino
  • Slots
  • Bingo
  • Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • New Games
  • Arcade
  • Slingo
  • Jackpots
  • Poker
  • Bonus Drop

You can use the ‘i’ symbol on any game to view information about it, including its features, maximum win and volatility, but disappointingly the RTP isn’t listed here, making it difficult to compare the value of different games before launching them.

Games load quickly and gameplay shows no sign of lag, which is what we’d expect from a modern online casino.

Customer Support

William Hill’s help centre has been revamped recently, and it’s all the better for it. It’s comprehensive and well-organised, making it easy to locate the information you’re looking for.

On the downside, it’s very difficult to locate contact details, although it is possible to track them down by searching ‘contact’ in the help centre.

Live chat is available via the website, but you’ll have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the Vegas homepage to find it, in the small print right at the bottom of the page. It’s no longer possible to make contact via phone or email, which strikes us as unnecessarily obstructive.

Mobile Experience

William Hill offers a dedicated Vegas Casino app, allowing casino fans to play from their phones with no distractions.

The app’s design is almost identical to the website, just optimised for a smaller screen, but it works well and is easy to navigate.

Games are rather slower to load, though, which could become frustrating for anyone who wants to play from their phone for significant periods.

William Hill Game Selection & Quality

William Hill Vegas gameplay shown for Age of the Dogs

William Hill Vegas has a wide selection of over 2000 games, which includes all the games you’d expect to find, like the Big Bass and Eye of Horus series, as well as plenty of more niche options and a fair few exclusives.

All the big name providers are present and correct, including Inspired, Blueprint, Pragmatic Play and NetEnt, so you can be sure of finding high quality games you’ll know and love.

In the past, we’d found that William Hill own-branded games could often be rather poor quality, with fuzzy graphics and laggy gameplay. Recently, though, they seem to have upped their game (if you’ll forgive the pun) and while many of their own-brand games are a little on the simplistic side, the graphics are crisp and the gameplay smooth.

There are no fees for withdrawals, which is as it should be.

It’s good to see such a wide range of payment methods, with reasonable minimum deposits and withdrawals in most cases. Withdrawals are generally processed pretty quickly, too, so you won’t be waiting for ages to get your money.

William Hill Vegas Safety & Fairness

William Hill is one of the oldest gambling companies in the country, and between its long history and the fact that it’s licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission, you can be confident that it’s operating legitimately.

William Hill offers medium protection of funds, meaning that, if they were to go bust, your funds would likely be safe - although this isn’t 100% guaranteed. Although high protection would be better, this is the normal level that most companies opt for, which seems quite reasonable.

In the Fairness section of their terms and conditions, William Hill confirms that their RNGs (random number generators) are tested by independent auditors to ensure that games are paying out fairly, which is a definite positive.

The Safer Gambling ‘hub’ is a little disappointing, in that it comprises a small dropdown menu with links to tools and information, but it does meet the legal requirements.

Conclusion

William Hill Vegas is overall a great casino, and has a lot to offer for Casino Matched Betting especially. But regular players will be pleased too, both by the gameplay experience and the range of games on offer.
