The Pools Casino Overall Rating: 3.4/5⭐
Verdict: They aren’t the best casino around but there’s something we love about The Pools and their rich history. The new customer offer is average at best but there’s plenty of regular offers to go at. Sadly, the payment options are very limited and they have a pretty small games library. That said, they still have all the main types of games that casino players enjoy.

The Pools Casino User Experience
Design & Navigation

The common trend with bookies casinos these days is to have the Casino and Live Casino separate and The Pools has followed suit.
The Casino home page is relatively plain looking with a black and white colour scheme, with the exception of the colourful games tiles. The vast majority of the casino home page is occupied with slots games placed into different categories such as Recently Added, Most Popular, Halloween etc.
There is a search function if you’re looking for specific games. Aside from this, there’s a menu across the screen with the categories Slots, New, Jackpots, Table Games, Slingo, Video Bingo, Crash & Arcade and All Games.
Whilst they have all the games you’d expect, there are some features they could add to make navigation a little better. It would be useful if they added a feature that allowed customers to add games as favourites so they don’t have to keep searching for them.
If you hover over any game, it does tell who the game provider is. It would be worth adding some sort of filter option that allows you to filter by games providers, volatility levels etc.

The Pools Casino Customer Support
The Pools has a decent Help Centre that should cover most queries. They list some top-read articles and 12 different help categories with numerous help articles in each. If you want to narrow your search down a little, there’s a search function at the top of the page too.
If you still need answers, the help doesn’t stop there. You can contact The Pools via telephone, email or live chat.
- Telephone - 0800 500 000
- Email - support@thepools.com
- Live chat - 08:30 to 22:00

Mobile Experience
The first thing you should know is that The Pools doesn’t have an app which is quite unusual in this day and age.
Therefore, you’re getting a version of the website via a mobile browser. The layout and navigation are the same. We did find it slightly slower to load games than using the laptop/PC version.
The Pools Casino Game Selection & Quality
Types of Games Available
Compared to other casinos, The Pools has a smaller library of games but still has the same types of games. All the games sit within the Casino section of the Live Casino section.
In the Casino section, you’ll see slot games, jackpots, table games, slingo, crash & arcade and video bingo.
When you head over to the Live Casino section, you can expect player favourites such as Blackjack, Roulette, Game Shows and Baccarat. We were a little surprised that they didn’t have any poker games.
Game Providers
It would be nice if they provided a filter that lets you see the casino software providers available. However, the best option they offer is to display the name of the game provider if you hover the mouse over the game icons. Providers include Blueprint, Inspired, Games Global and Pragmatic Play.
Game Quality
Of the games that we tested, they all worked fine and the graphics were spot on.
The Pools Casino Banking & Payouts
They could really do with helping themselves out here and widening the payment options for customers. At present, you’re restricted to two payment methods.

The Pools Casino Safety & Fairness
These guys have been going for over 100 years so you know they aren’t a fly by night that’s going to disappear with your money. In fact, they are registered with funds protection to give you a bit more peace of mind.
From the main menu, you can access a ‘Play Responsibly’ section which explains their commitment to keeping you safe. There’s also an explanation of what tools are available to help keep gambling under control. If you want to set any limits or put any controls in place, you can do this by accessing your account section and the Gambling Controls option.
The Pools Casino Conclusion
The Pools won’t be the first bookie you go to and there are better promotions available elsewhere. However, there’s something that draws us to like The Pools.
Whilst the offers they have aren’t as good as some, it’s still worth taking part in them as you can lock in profits from them as a matched bettor. You can find out a little more about using casino offers to make profits in this article.
