Star Sports Casino Overall Rating: 2.4/5⭐

Verdict: Star Sports Casino doesn’t stand out with any of its features. The live customer support is good but they lack a decent help section where customers can find information. We found the lack of transparency and policies a bit of a concern too.

Star Sports Casino Bonuses & Promotions

In this section, we’ll take a look at what Star Sports Casino has to offer its new customers and if there are any ongoing promotions that existing customers can take advantage of.

One thing to note is they don’t have an offers or promotions page on the website so you need to keep an eye on the scrolling banner to check any offers.

  • Use the promo code ‘bigbass100’ when you sign up.

Star Sports Casino Regular Promotions

This is the only regular offer we could find and the requirements are a little extortionate.

Website

When you enter the casino section of Star Sports, you’re hit with a wall of vibrant colours displaying multiple games. The top of the page has a rolling banner for different games but it’s not clear if they are just random or customer favourites.

Below this, the games menu runs across the screen. They have tried to categorise the games but with so many different types, it’s a difficult task and we have seen better menu navigation in other casinos. They have created categories such as Slingo, Classic Slots, Megaways, Table Games etc. Fortunately, there is a search function to find your preferred games.

Star Sports also has two separate sections for Live Casino and Bingo.

One handy feature that Star Sports provide is the ability to highlight specific games as your favourites which means you will have instant access to them.

All in all, the website layout and design is okay, but not great.

Customer Support

Rather than a help centre, Star Sports has an FAQ section which can be accessed from both the top and bottom of the website. We weren’t impressed with what we found though.

Firstly, the FAQ section doesn’t open up as a full page, it just pops out a side bar which makes the text and information look very squashed in.

Secondly, the information in the FAQ section doesn’t cover many topics. It tends to revolve around payments, deposit limits and verifying identification so if you need to know anything else, you’ll need to contact Star Sports customer service.

Thankfully, they do have a few options to allow you to get in touch with them:

tablet and mobile phone displaying casino pages

Star Sports Casino Mobile Experience

Firstly, the Star Sports app is just one app containing casino and sports betting markets. The app replicates the website in terms of layout which means there's a whole lot of stuff crammed into a small screen which makes navigation slightly harder on the app.

The menu options and search function is the same as the website so you have an option to look for specific games or markets if you wish.

Star Sports Casino Game Selection & Quality

Types of Games Available

The games on offer at Star Sports Casino are split into three high level categories: Casino, Live Casino and Bingo.

  • Casino - The range of games available is pretty standard and mainly revolves around slot games. The casino games are split into various sub-sections including Popular, New, Table Games, LuckyTap, Slingo, Drops and Wins, Classic Slots and Megaways.
  • Live Casino - Most bookies tend to concentrate more on slots than live games but Star Sports Casino have excelled in the amount of games on offer. The range of games includes Roulette, Blackjack, Gameshows, Baccarat, Crash Games, Speed Games and Asian games.
  • Bingo - There are only two bingo games at Star Sports Casino so we’re not entirely sure if it’s worth having a bingo section. Of course, they also lump in the Slingo games in this section as it’s a form of bingo.

Game Providers

As with a lot of casinos, Star Sports Casino utilises some of the most popular games providers in the industry. The list includes:

  • Play’n Go - Games include Book of Dead, Tome of Dead, Rise of Olympus etc.
  • Evolution - Specialists in live casino games, including Deal or No Deal.
  • Pragmatic Play - The king of slot games, who release multiple new games each month. Some of their most popular games include the Big Bass range, Code of Cairo and Sugar Rush.
  • NetEnt - A subsidiary of Evolution Gaming Group, another big player in casino games. Titles include Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst and Dead or Alive.

Star Sports Casino Banking & Payouts

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a bookmaker with so few payment options available.

Method Minimum Deposit Minimum Withdrawal Withdrawal Time
Visa £10 £10 2 - 5 Days
Mastercard £10 £10 2 - 5 Days

Star Sports Casino Safety & Fairness

  • Licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
  • No funds protection.
  • Data protected by SSL encryption.
  • Full Safer Gambling suite.

It’s very likely that they use a RNG (Random Number Generator) on slot machines but we can’t find any evidence that the UK website uses it.

Star Sports Casino also lacks any published fairness policies.

Star Sports Casino Conclusion

The main selling point for Star Sports is the sportsbook and their approach of being an exclusive bookie. The casino was a necessary addition in order to keep up with their competitors.

The Star Sports casino is average and pretty much covers most games that regular punters might enjoy. The welcome offer for new customers isn’t too bad and could be utilised to make a profit for matched bettors. There’s only one regular promotion for existing customers and that requires a weekly spend of £500 which is way above what the average casino player spends.

There’s nothing amazing about Star Sports as a casino or a bookmaker. However, it is possible to make profits from some of the offers as a matched bettor.

If you’d like to find a bit more about how that’s possible, have a read of the Outplayed ‘What is Matched Betting?’ guide and our article on why you need to do casino offers.

As a normal punter, these guys are more suited to people playing games for fun rather than those chasing big jackpots.
