Lottoland Casino Overall Rating: 4/5⭐

Verdict: For a gambling company whose primary focus isn’t its casino, Lottoland does pretty well to create an enjoyable experience, with a particularly impressive range of games. It would be nice to see some more worthwhile reload offers, though, and it certainly skimps on funds protection.

Lottoland Casino Bonuses & Promotions

Although Lottoland’s main focus is lotteries (naturally enough), it has a respectable casino as well, with a fair few promotions available, both to new and returning customers.

They may not be the most generous in the world, but there’s some value to be had, and the welcome offer in particular is well worth completing.

Lottoland welcome offer: deposit and stake £20 to get 100 free spins

Lottoland Casino’s Welcome Offer

Although you’ll find better elsewhere, Lottoland’s isn’t bad: deposit and stake £20 to receive 100 free spins.

You can stake your £20 on a range of slots, but we recommend either 9 Masks Of Fire (96.24% RTP) or Fishin’ Pots of Gold (96% RTP), which offer the best value.

You’ll then receive 100 free spins to be used on Fishin’ Frenzy Even Bigger Fish, with your winnings credited as cash.

Lottoland Casino’s Reload Offers

Lottoland’s casino reload offers aren’t quite so exciting, unfortunately, though it’s nice to see a free weekly game, with prizes including cash, free spins and bonus funds.

At the time of writing, Lottoland were also running an app-only casino promotion rewarding you with free spins when you deposit and stake certain amounts on qualifying games:

  • Deposit £20 and stake £60 to receive 20 free spins on Wild Rush Bunny
  • Deposit £50 and stake £150 to receive 50 free spins on Wild Rush Bunny
  • Deposit £100 and stake £300 to receive 100 free spins on Wild Rush Bunny

Unfortunately, all three options have negative expected value, so for anyone completing casino offers as part of a Matched Betting strategy, they simply aren’t worth doing.

However, recreational bettors might well be more enthusiastic about what Lottoland Casino has on offer.

Lottoland Casino User Experience

Design & Navigation

Lottoland casino homepage

Lottoland Casino’s website design is perfectly fine, but feels a little basic, with a plain background and uniform sections.

On the bright side, it’s very easy to navigate, with clear categories, a search tool at the top of the page, and a filter option when you choose ‘All Slots’, allowing you to narrow down your results by volatility and provider.

Lottoland could be more informative about their games, though - although they do offer an ‘i’ button to view information about a game before loading it, this doesn’t include RTP, which can only be accessed by launching a game.

The site is swift and responsive, with all the games we tested loading in just a few seconds.

Customer Support

While Lottoland’s Help Centre is fairly comprehensive, the design leaves something to be desired, and it isn’t particularly intuitive to navigate.

However, when you’ve located the question you need, the information provided is clear and helpful.

If you do need to make contact with Lottoland, you may well have difficulty, as no contact information other than its 24/7 chatbot is made available to customers. You can get through to an agent if necessary, though the chatbot will do its best to divert you from doing so.

Lottoland will also direct you to a contact form in certain circumstances, which should result in a response within 48 hours.

Mobile Experience

Lottoland doesn’t have a dedicated casino app, instead rolling everything into one. Perhaps this is to blame for its slow loading times; the app was certainly much more prone to lag than the website when we tested it.

On the other hand, Lottoland’s casino design seems to work a bit better on a smaller screen, while being just as easy to navigate.

Overall, the app is perfectly fine - and those who prefer to play on their phones will be happy enough, even if the app isn’t quite as slick as one might like.

Lottoland Casino Game Selection & Quality

Lottoland gameplay: Jackpot Carnival Miss Kitty

Lottoland may not be a casino first and foremost, but that hasn’t stopped its range of games being extremely wide, with over 3500 slots games on offer, including the majority of British favourites.

You’ll find everything you’d expect at a modern online casino: classic slots, table games, jackpots, slingo, live casino and instant win games, with something to suit every taste.

The biggest providers are all present, including Pragmatic, NetEnt and Blueprint, and you’re unlikely to be unable to find a specific game you’re keen to play.

We did find the odd fairly low effort game, though, and we suspect that Lottoland aren’t doing much quality testing before adding a game to their collection.

Lottoland charges no fee for withdrawals, as we’d hope, and offers good withdrawals times, meaning you won’t be waiting for days on end to receive your cash.

It’s also fantastic to see that there’s no minimum withdrawal amount, so you won’t ever be stuck with a small amount in your account, unable to get at it.

Lottoland Casino Safety & Fairness

Lottoland is licensed and regulated by the British Gambling Commission, meaning that you can be confident it’s operating legitimately in the UK.

Lottoland’s funds protection is classed as ‘not protected’, meaning that any funds in your Lottoland account would be at risk if Lottoland were to go bust. This is, of course, highly unlikely, but it’s something to bear in mind if you end up with a large balance in your account.

The Safer Gambling section, meanwhile, is a little basic but does cover all the information it should, and includes some useful videos to take you through how to put in place some of the Safer Gambling tools on offer.

Conclusion

Lottoland’s casino might not be the very best out there, but it’s certainly a lot more than an afterthought.

We don’t imagine there’ll be huge numbers of casino lovers signing up, but if you’re completing casino offers as part of your Matched Betting side hustle, it’s well worth your time working through the welcome offer at the very least.
